Esquire Big Watch Book & 2022 Edition

Watch story for Esquire featuring a brilliant succession of watches that required perfect placement and depth. Creating compositions that use leading lines and focus to draw the eye into the watch's face. Using camera movement, the foreground plates allowed me to open up the shutter and offer some wobbly motions. It was dynamic and worked well with the teams at Esquire’s idea. Special shout out to Lauren and Emily.

Lighting was all about working with the leading lines, drawing the eye into a solid composition. Foreground and background, playing with depth. The camera movement was done by mixing flash and ambient from the modelling lamps to create the blurs.

In essence, this was all about time, the article working well with the images to tell the story.
