Motion
David Lineton is a still life director in London, making motion for drinks, fragrance, cosmetics, jewellery and watches. Everything is built in camera, with speed and lighting controlled on set.

On campaigns, the work starts with the stills. For Starbucks and Fanta he shot the stills, then created one visual look to carry across the stills and the motion, so the images and the films read as one campaign. On larger productions he directs: leading the creative, directing talent and crew, and overseeing the look and grade.
On smaller jobs he shoots and directs the motion himself. For Balvenie he shot and directed the films, with the stills and motion built to match.
