Campari Red.

This is part of a personal series looking at liquids caught in a moment and in perspective, the intertwining pour, the first hit of ice, and the way syrups and alcohol blend inside a serve. Working in one colour removes everything you would normally use to separate a subject. Red on red on a warm ground has no tonal gap to fall back on. I stripped the set to one shallow glass bowl, one large clear cube and nothing else, then let shape do the work instead of contrast. The stream is caught mid-twist as it falls and sheets over the ice, and I rim-lit the glass so the vessel stays readable as a hard line inside a soft field.
