Frozen Drink.

A cold drink rarely photographs cold. The liquid looks the same at room temperature, and the thing that reads as cold is what has formed on the outside of the glass. That is also the fragile part. Frost on a coupe has a short life under lights, and once it starts to go you cannot put it back. So I made the frost the subject rather than the drink. The ribbed coupe is rimmed and coated in crystals, holding a pale pink frozen serve, with the stem set down into crushed ice so the glass is part of the same cold mass rather than standing on it.
