Infusion.

Infusion is a personal study built around drinks that depend on something dispersing before they work: tea, matcha, hot chocolate, bubble tea. By the time each one is poured and sitting still for a camera, the interesting part has already happened. A finished glass of tea photographs as an object. It gives no sense of the colour finding its way through the water, which is the actual subject of the study. I built the frame around the same movement as the drink. Each serve sits inside a spinning tunnel of colour, shot through in camera and matched to that drink's own palette, so the picture pulls toward the glass the way flavour pulls through liquid. Every vortex is a single in-camera exposure, nothing added in post.
